The City of Krosno is implementing the project “Our Krosno – Green, Entreprising and Co-Managed with Residents” thanks to funding provided under the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme. The project is a comprehensive response to the most important development challenges facing the city and the Krosno Functional Urban Area.

The Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme is an initiative dedicated to medium-sized cities in Poland that face socio-economic challenges or require additional support for their development. The Programme aims to strengthen the potential of Polish cities through investments in the economy, public transport, vocational education, environmental protection, healthcare, and social activation. Swiss Funds are provided in the form of non-repayable financial support.

On 18 May 2026, the first Steering Committee meeting of the project “Our Krosno: green, enterprising and co-managed with residents’”, implemented under the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme, was held at the Business Incubator in Krosno.

The City of Krosno announces a call for candidates to serve as members of competition committees evaluating applications submitted under open calls for proposals implemented within the project “Our Krosno – green, entrepreneurial and co-managed with residents”. The recruitment concerns public tasks in the field of health protection and promotion: “Improving residents’ health through participation in various forms of physical activities”,“Support in coping with stress”.

On 13 May 2026, two open calls for proposals were announced under the grant fund ‘Improving the physical and mental health of residents’, implemented as part of Measure 5 ‘Increasing access to medical services for the residents of Krosno’ of the project entitled ‘Our Krosno: green, enterprising and co-managed with residents’:

On 15 April, the first inaugural meeting of the Community Committee was held as part of the project entitled ‘Our Krosno: green, enterprising and co-managed with residents’. This event marks an important step towards strengthening cooperation and engaging residents in the implementation of local initiatives.
