At the beginning of October, we conducted a survey among seniors in Krosno, in which 302 people took part.
The survey was used to gather the opinions of seniors in Krosno on measures aimed at increasing access to health services and promoting a healthy lifestyle. It was part of the diagnostic process carried out in connection with the ongoing work on the preparation of a project for which the Town of Krosno will apply for funding under the Swiss-Polish Coopertion Programme.
The results of the survey are clear – senior citizens are focusing on improving access to healthcare in the town of Krosno. Over 88% of respondents considered the provision of medical rehabilitation services to be a priority. Through rehabilitation, senior citizens improve their motor skills, which contributes to their well-being and increased activity in social life. Activities aimed at activating seniors and promoting a healthy lifestyle are also a priority for them. Over 98% of respondents would be willing to take advantage of tourist and sightseeing trips and physical activities. In addition, respondents believe that a place dedicated to seniors should be created in Krosno.
The survey results highlight two key areas for senior citizens – health and activity. Thanks to the conclusions drawn from the survey, it will be possible to design appropriate activities that will meet the needs of senior citizens in Krosno.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the survey.
