We invite residents to an information and consultation meeting on greenery and the development of green areas and public transport in Krosno, which will take place this Wednesday (23 October) from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Youth Activity Centre in Krosno, in the Market Square (basement of the building at 6 Market Square).

During the meeting, you will have the opportunity to learn about the city's plans for the development of several green areas, as well as the development of the public transport system. The meeting will be divided into two thematic blocks:

Public transport, which will include:

• Optimisation of timetables – development of new bus routes and timetables for MKS Krosno
• Replacement of bus shelters, including the construction of shelters with green roofs and climbing plants around the walls
• Equipping bus stops with CCTV and electronic information boards
• Plans to purchase new electric buses for public transport

Nature conservation and biodiversity, during which we will discuss the following topics:

• Zielona Brama Bieszczad (Green Gate of the Bieszczady Mountains) – planting trees and ornamental plants that absorb smog on Bieszczadzka and Podkarpacka Streets
• Development of green areas on Szopena Street – the second part of the sensory park
• Planting trees and flower meadows in road verges

The meeting will be informative in nature, but there will also be room for discussion and exchange of views on the above-mentioned topics. The conclusions from the discussion, as well as the proposals submitted by residents, will allow for the proper planning of activities within the project, for which the Town of Krosno will apply for funding under the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme.
