On 14 January 2026, the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, acting on the basis of a decision by the Steering Committee, announced that the Complete Project Proposal entitled Our Krosno: Green, Entrepreneurial, and Co-managed with Residents was eligible for funding.

Following the positive assessment of the project, on 16 January 2026, the first meeting of the Project Team was held at the Krosno City Hall to prepare for the implementation of the project, which will be carried out as part of the Polish-Swiss Urban Development Programme.

During the meeting, the scope of activities planned for 2026–2029 was discussed, the coordinators of individual thematic areas were introduced, and the schedule of upcoming tasks to be completed by June 2026 was presented. The participants also agreed on further organisational steps and emphasised the need to continue working in smaller working groups.

The project aims to support the sustainable development of the city, strengthen entrepreneurship, and increase the participation of residents in the co-management of Krosno.
Currently, the City of Krosno is awaiting the signing of the funding agreement, which will enable the formal launch of the project.
