On Friday (20 March), Krosno welcomed a delegation from the Swiss Embassy in Poland, comprising Cliff Hammer, Katarzyna Templin-Ukleja and Monika Ciemięga. The visit took place in connection with the implementation of the project “Our Krosno: green, entrepreneurial and co-managed with residents”, co-funded under the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme.

The meeting, which took place at the Business Incubator in Krosno, was also attended by representatives of the city authorities and institutions involved in the project: Piotr Przytocki – Mayor of Krosno, Miranda Trojanowska – Deputy Mayor of Krosno, Krzysztof Borowicz – Managing Director of the Krosno Technology Incubator “KRINTECH” Sp. z o.o., and Town Council staff responsible for implementing specific project activities.

During the discussions, issues relating to, amongst other things, the development of the local economy, residents’ quality of life, environmental protection and community engagement were addressed. This dialogue serves as a valuable source of inspiration and best practices that can be utilised in the further implementation of the project. Experiences were also exchanged and common challenges in the areas of the economy, quality of life, environmental protection and social engagement were discussed.

There was also an opportunity to showcase the town, including the locations of the planned investments covered by the project. The meeting confirms the importance of international cooperation and represents a further step in the implementation of the project, which aims to develop Krosno as a modern, green and resident-friendly town.
