We invite the residents of Krosno to participate in public consultations regarding the creation of a pocket park at Lwowska Street in Krosno. Together we will create a place with a good vibe!

Green area at Lwowska Street, located near the District Office and the shopping mall Vivo! Krosno is an unattractive area. Currently, there is a small undeveloped area in this place, which does not encourage relaxation. The nearby shopping center, McDonald's and other restaurants and bars mean that young people who use public transport or walk past this area are frequent guests.

We want this area to be attractive to them, allow them to relax or spend time actively. Consultations with residents regarding the method of development and assigning specific functions to this square will allow for joint development of design assumptions, which will be included in the technical documentation for the development of the area at Lwowska Street, and then allow for the creation of a place that meets the needs of the young people.

A pocket park is a form of land with a small area of 300 - 5000 m2, more and more popular in urban space. The term "pocket park" is a literal translation of the English phrase and, as the name suggests, it takes up little space.

This form of land development is very popular among residents, young people and passers-by. You can find there elements for active recreation, i.e. open-air gym and playground equipment, outdoor games, and for passive recreation, e.g. benches, swings, deckchairs. An interesting solution among urban buildings are flow parks as attractive places for rest and relaxation, especially for young people. Modern and interesting exercise forms stimulate imagination and creativity, as well as being a way to release negative emotions that accompany each of us today.

The subject of the consultation is to develop, together with the residents, a concept for the development of the square area at Lwowska Street in Krosno. On its basis, technical documentation for the pocket park will be developed.
