How to develop Krosno economically, using the city's internal potential? An open online seminar as part of the Local Development Forum will help in answering this question, to which we invite all interested parties, especially entrepreneurs and organizations supporting the development of entrepreneurship in our city.

The seminar will take place on Thursday, 23rd April, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The organizer, the Association of Polish Cities, will present, among others:

•  research results regarding the plans of young people from small and medium-sized towns who will soon enter the labour market,
• previously unpublished data on socio-economic activity based on the resources of the Ministry of Finance and the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) resources regarding the labor market.

The conclusions from the discussion will help us prepare a project that will apply for funding under the Local Development Program financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.

The main goals of this project are to comprehensively improve the quality of life in Krosno and better adapt the administration to the needs of residents. The project will cover many aspects, including: entrepreneurship, education, youth affairs, senior policy, activation of groups at risk of exclusion, housing policy, development of a smart city. It is intended to respond to diagnosed problems that contribute to negative socio-economic phenomena. The strategic documents and the project proposal will be developed in accordance with the principle of broad public participation.

We realize that times are difficult now and the assumptions that guided us just a few weeks ago need to be verified. Nevertheless, we believe that as part of work on the project, in cooperation with the residents, solutions will be developed that will best respond to new problems and challenges emerging in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
