We asked residents living at the Piastowska Street what the pocket park on Piastowska Street in Krosno should look like. We presented our vision of the place and waited for the opinion of the most interested Krosno residents.

As part of the project titled "We Create + We Develop + We Activate + We Motivate + We Determine + We Change = KROSNO", financed from the funds of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the state budget, public consultations were held on the topic ‘What should the pocket park on Piastowska Street in Krosno look like’. Consultations were conducted in a direct form, i.e. a meeting with residents and a survey.

Meeting with residents
During the meeting, held on March 28, 2022, we asked residents first of all how they themselves would like the area to look, what function for them the park should have, what it could be called, and what landscaping or decorative details are needed there. All these opinions were taken into account and incorporated into the concept.

How is the park going to be named?
The name of the park will be chosen from among the submitted proposals. Voting will take place on two consecutive Mondays in May 16 and May 23, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the headquarters of the Grot Rowecki’s Estate Council at 58 Piastowska Street. The proposals you can vote for can also be found in the report.

What now?
Conclusions and comments of residents, collected both during the meeting, but also those received in surveys have been, compiled and collated in a summary report and entered into the concept. Based on these documents, technical documentation will be developed.

The final report and the development concept, which takes into account residents' requests, can be viewed at the headquarters of the Grot-Rowecki’s Estate Council at 58 Piastowska Street in Krosno.
