The Handbook shows specific examples of good practices that the city of Krosno together with partners of the project “We create+We develop+We Activate+We motivate+We determine +We change =KROSNO” would like to share with you. Below you may find two language versions of the handbook.

The material was made within the implementation of the project entitled: “We create+We develop+We Activate+We motivate+ We determine + We change =KROSNO”, which received a grant of 19,612,292.71 PLN as a part of the Local Development Program. The project is co-financed in 85 % from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and in 15 % from the State Budget.

Project Beneficiary/Leading partner - Municipality of the City of Krosno.

The goal of the project was to comprehensively improve the quality of life in Krosno and better adapt the Krosno administration to the needs of its residents, in line with the slogan that is the overarching narrative of the Norwegian funds - “Together we work for a green, competitive and inclusive Europe”.

Norway grants represent the Norway contribution in the creation of a green, competitive and inclusive Europe. Under the Norwegian funds, Norway contributes to reducing social and economic inequalities and strengthening bilateral relations with beneficiary countries in Central and Southern Europe, and the Baltic Sea area. Norway cooperates closely with the EU under the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). Along with other donors, Norway provided €3.3 billion in consecutive fund programs between 1994 and 2014. The Norwegian funds are funded exclusively by Norway and are available in countries that joined the EU after 2003. The Norwegian funds for 2014-2021 amount to €1.25 billion. Priorities for this period are:

#1 innovations, research, education, competitiveness and decent work;
#2 social integration, youth employment and poverty reduction;
#3 environment, energy, climate change and low-carbon economy;
#4 culture, civil society, good governance and basic rights;
#5 justice and internal affairs.
