On March 3, 2023 at 8:30 a.m., at the Polytechnic Campus of the National Academy of Applied Sciences in Krosno, an event called A Secret Hotch-Spotch’ took place, which is organized within the framework of the "Gain experience and skills with KPU in Krosno" project. The competition was attended by 14 teams of 5 people from Krosno high schools.

The purpose of the event was to develop logical thinking, develop teamwork skills, stimulate intelligence, speed of action and cleverness, promote technical knowledge among young people.

The competition covered topics in the following fields: mathematics, chemistry, physics, economics, computer science.

Students took part in games divided into two rounds of 7 groups in 7 rooms:

• Interactive construction - Project Construction Faculty
• Glowing chain -Faculty of Energetics
• Water-geology hotch-spotch – Faculty of Engineering
• Bomb up! – IT Faculty
• Workshop of a genius -  faculty of Mechanics and Machine Construction
• Economic meanderings – Management Faculty
• Brain teaser and robots – Faculty of Automatics&Robotics

Each room contained tasks developed by the National Academy of Applied Sciences lecturers in Krosno. The goal of the game was to solve the tasks and get the code to the key box.

We awarded the top three groups on the podium. The winners received in-kind prizes in the form of electronic equipment with a total value of about PLN 3,000.

Executed within the framework of the project titled "We create+Develop+Activate+Motivate+Develop+Change=KROSNO" implemented within the framework of the Local Development Program, co-financed in 85% from the funds of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and in 15% from the state budget.

The amount of funding received is 15,328,498.86 PLN. The beneficiary/lead partner is the Municipality of Krosno. The aim of the project is to comprehensively improve the quality of life in Krosno and better adapt Krosno's administration to the needs of its residents.
