On June 6, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in the courtyard of the University's buildings at 8 Kazimierza Wielkiego Street, a Picnic was held for the participants of the Second Edition of classes within the framework of the project Popularization of science among elementary school students.

The Picnic was attended by students from Krosno elementary schools, who from October 2022 to June this year were participants in classes organized by the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Krosno within the framework of the "K+R+O+S+N+O" project, together with guardians-teachers from each school. Guardians, parents and grandparents of the students were also invited to attend the Picnic.

During the Picnic, students had the opportunity to test themselves at thematic booths, and where various tasks and puzzles thematically related to the course modules implemented during the year awaited them. Our academics organized 6 workshop stands thematically reflecting the Second Edition of the classes - programming, robotics, ecology, entrepreneurship, nature experiments and mathematics.

In addition to interesting challenges at the booths, we also prepared delicious refreshments for the participants.

The amount of funding received is 15,328,498.86 PLN. The beneficiary/lead partner is the Municipality of Krosno. The aim of the project is to comprehensively improve the quality of life in Krosno and better adapt Krosno's administration to the needs of its residents.
