Did you know that ... the mayor of Krosno on economic development issues is advised by entrepreneurs?

The Krosno Business Council is a team of advisors with whom we discuss the development of Krosno, creating the best possible conditions for doing business, investing, adapting the offer of public services to the needs of entrepreneurs.

The Council is composed of 20 members. The open call resulted in the selection of a team composed of representatives from a wide range of industries and services, as well as the business environment. Works are participated by the representatives of both the largest Krosno companies and smaller entrepreneurs.

So far four meetings of the Krosno Business Council have been organized, during which many proposals and suggestions have been raised in the aspect of various areas of the city functioning, including:

• the development of Krosno Development Program for Entrepreneurs for the years 2024-2030,
• comments and proposals on property tax exemption programs for investors - two draft resolutions are currently being developed, taking into account the solutions worked out with the Business Council,
• discussions on topics on energy self-sufficiency projects,
• proposals for activities in education, promotion and branding of the city and activation of the Old Town Hill.

The Krosno Business Council has been appointed as a part of the project “We create+ We develop+ We Activate+We motivate + We determine + We change =KROSNO” implemented as a part of the Local Development Program, co-financed in 85 % from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and in 15 % from the State Budget.
