More than 700 visitors to the Job Fair organized by the Carpathian State University in Krosno.

The 9th Edition of the Job Fair (08th April) was held at the Technical and Sports Campus of the Carpathian State University in Krosno, which was part of the project "We Create+ We Develop+ We Activate+ We Motivate+ We Determine+ We Change = KROSNO", implemented under the Local Development Program, co-financed 85% from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and 15% from the state budget.

On that day, Krosno University hosted 43 exhibitors, who prepared many job, internship and apprenticeship offers, thematic workshops and advisory points. The Fair featured companies from the manufacturing, plastics processing, IT, construction, aviation, hospitality, public administration, uniformed services, social security, banking and finance sectors, and many others.

The event was attended by high school students from both Krosno and the surrounding area, as well as students, graduates and those seeking employment. The fair was visited by more than 700 people. The Job Fair was an unusual opportunity to meet with employers and labour market experts and specialists. Visitors to the Fair had the opportunity to obtain information on opening a business, obtaining financial and substantive support. Career counsellors present at the Fair provided information on how to present oneself well at a job interview, provided support in preparing a resume and cover letter.

As part of the 9th Edition of the Job Fair in Krosno, workshops were also organized, i.e.: Career Coaching / I love my job!, which was led by Joanna Kwolek - HT Manager at FIXIT Company, and Krzysztof Podkul - Manager of the Sports and Events Department of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Krosno spoke about the Most Important Competencies of Employees in The Tourism Sector.

An element of the Job Fair was also a motivational lecture entitled’The most important man in the world’, which was conducted by Michal Zawadka - an optimist, an expert in mental development of young people and families, author of best-selling books, promoter of soft education in the broadest sense, creator of a mental school, member of the Association of Professional Speakers. The motivational lecture was attended by 140 students of Krosno high schools and students.

The project „We create+ We develop+ We activate+ We motivate+ We determine+ We change= KROSNO” implemented as a part of the Local Development Programme, co-financed in 85 % from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and in 15 % from the State Budget.

The amount of funding received is 15,328,498.86 PLN. The beneficiary/lead partner is the Municipality of Krosno. The aim of the project is to comprehensively improve the quality of life in Krosno and better adapt Krosno's administration to the needs of its residents.
