The Krosno Land Ethnocenter invites you to participate in a free series of dance workshops. During the planned meetings, participants will learn about folk dances of the Rzeszów region, with particular emphasis on Krosno-origin dances!
The series of workshops includes 6 meetings (each lasting approximately 4 hours), during which participants will benefit from the knowledge of specialists in folk dances. The presenters will be Ms. Alina Głosiec-Rusin and Mr. Artur Szlachetka.
The meeting program includes classes devoted to learning the basics of folk dance (i.e. adopting the right posture, dance directions, setting up in pairs and starting the dance correctly, distinguishing three-measure and two-measure dances based on rhythm). During the planned workshops, participants will learn, among others: polka, oberek, walczyk, tramelka, haciok, suwany and many others.*
The workshops are aimed at adults, both beginners and those who already have experience in dance. We encourage you to sign up in pairs (however, signing up as a pair is not a mandatory condition for participating in the workshops, you can also sign up individually).
Meetings in the series will be held on: July 22, July 23, August 5, August 12, August 13, September 2. Classes will be held at regular hours: 11 a.m. 3:00 p.m. at the Krosno Land Ethnocenter (Kolejowa 29a, Krosno).

The amount of funding received is 15,328,498.86 PLN. The beneficiary/lead partner is the Municipality of Krosno. The aim of the project is to comprehensively improve the quality of life in Krosno and better adapt Krosno's administration to the needs of its residents.
