Design competition for students of Krosno high schools Hackathon came to its end
A Hackathon was held at the Krosno campus of the National Academy of Applied Sciences on Wyspianski Street on March 24, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It was a design competition organized by the Department of Computer Science for students of Krosno high schools.
Looking for innovative solutions for urban space, students of the Krosno Electrical and General Education School Complex, Krosno Secondary School named after the Constitution of May 3 in Krosno, T. Brzozowski State High School of Fine Arts in Krosno, Stanislaw Staszic Mechanical School Complex in Krosno, Architectural and Construction School Complex in Krosno competed for awards.
The first place award went to the team "EXCELSIOR" from the Complex of Electrical and General Education Schools in Krosno, the second place award went to the team "Plastyk" from the T. Brzozowski State High School of Fine Arts in Krosno, and the third place award went to the team "qwerty" from the 2nd High School of General Education named after the Constitution of May 3 in Krosno. Prizes within the Hackathon included attractive electronic equipment for the top three teams.
The hackathon was organized as part of the "Gain experience and skills with KPU in Krosno" project entitled "We create + Develop + Activate + Motivate + Determine + Change = KROSNO" implemented under the Local Development Program, co-financed 85% from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and 15% from the state budget.

The amount of funding received is 15,328,498.86 PLN. The beneficiary/lead partner is the Municipality of Krosno. The aim of the project is to comprehensively improve the quality of life in Krosno and better adapt Krosno's administration to the needs of its residents.
