The Kogel Mogel Association invites eager individuals to take part in a three-stage activity, through which those interested will gain knowledge and competence in the field of community organizing and receive employment opportunities. 

Who is an OS?
A community organizer is a person with a keen interest in local development and a belief that changing the world for the better happens by mobilizing communities around a shared vision.

What does a OS do?

A community organizer reaches out to people, listens to them, unites them into identical groups and motivates them to build collective strength.

What will a person who joins the action get?

1. KNOWLEDGE. The interested party will learn what community organizing based on the British model is, which has been used in England for more than 10 years as an effective method of working with residents to make the kind of changes to their immediate environment that they themselves want.
   The training will last 4 days of 8h each. During the course, the participant will learn what community organizing is in relation to the knowledge in question.
2. LISTENING SKILLS TRAINING. The participant will test himself in the implementation of one of the phases of community organizing - the Listening Phase.
   According to the guidelines, based on the scenario prepared at the training, the participant will independently conduct interviews with 20 residents of Krosno selected by him. The result of the work will be evaluated by specialists.
3. ACCESS TO WORK AS AN OS. The participant will be able to take part in the recruitment for the position of a Krosno community organizer.

One of the participants taking part in the action – ACTION. Join OS. Shall be employed at 1/8 time, for a period of 14 months. Employment will be supported by individual and group supervisions and feedback.
